Sunday Thoughts

This week i'm doing Thought's a day early as i'm off to the Lake District for a couple of days and sadly leaving my laptop behind, 21st century problems and all that jazz. Anyway this weeks Thought for you to ponder over is 'Yesterday is not ours to recover, but tomorrow is ours to win or lose' said by the fabulous Lyndon B. Johnson who i may say is deeeeep!!

This quote definitely has helped me. The past couple days i've been feeling pretty down about what i'm doing with my life. I've graduated University with a 2:2 in Mathematics and i don't seem to have a chance at getting the job i want, which is a bit disheartening. When i came across this quote, which made me realise i had the wrong frame of mind.

So if your feeling down, or struggling with anything here is a few pointers for you:
  1. You decide your own path, if things are not going the way you want them to there is no point sitting and sulking waiting for something to happen. Take action get up and go nothing is going to change unless you make it happen.
  2. Focus on the future, what happened yesterday has been and gone don't dwell on what has already happened because that is not going to get you where you want to be. Tomorrow is a different day and it's up to you where that day might lead you, you never know what is going to happen but by focusing on a future goal, enthusiasm and ambition will run through you.
  3. Stay Positive, you can't have a positive life if you have negative thoughts. Believe in yourself if you can't be positive about yourself who else will. Being negative drives people away if you have a 'i can achieve this' attitude it will help you strive more and you will more than likely achieve what you want.
If you put enough time and effort into something you want to achieve, you should most undeniably get it. So give yourself a right kick up the behind and get to it. It's what i needed, i've arranged to go back to University for an extra semester to get that 2:1 (i'm actually aiming for a 1st class honours now) so i can get the job i can see myself doing.

You all loved my Monday thoughts, tell me what you think of my Sunday Thought? Have you got any advice Comment Below!!
