Monday Thoughts

It's Monday and i've woke up feeling very thoughtful. Hence i've come up with Monday thoughts and i've thought (ooo we're full of thoughts today) why not blog a thought every Monday for all you lovely people. Well let's get started my first Monday Thought is "The best revenge is to improve yourself" by Imam Ali.

What a piece of advice that is and i definitely stick by it, you can apply this to many situations but i am going to talk about the most obvious setting you can use this fabulous moto. This obvious setting is the dreaded Break up.

When you break up with someone lets face it you're not feeling the greatest, all you want to do is watch Bridget Jones, lie in bed, eat lots and lots of chocolate and tubs and tubs of ice cream plus the masses amounts of feeling sorry for yourself, believe me i've been there. This is NOT the way to go drowning yourself in self pity and stupendous portions of sugar is just going to make you feel heartsick and just sick in general because of all them Oreo's you've been pushing down your throat. It's time to get over yourself and more importantly get over him, easier said than done i hear you say, well here is how you put my Monday Thought into good use.
  1. Focus on having fun with your friends. Go out with your mates after all they were probably there for you before he was, they will know how to make you laugh and take your mind of things. This will show everyone that your strong and not bothered (even though your probably crying inside) and if you happen to bump into him it will make him  think why is she not upset or even might be a bit jealous of your happy self. Remember a Smile is always more Attractive than a Frown.
  2. Hit the Gym. Improve your looks, nothing feels better than doing exercise, it is scientifically proven exercise makes you happier. Yeah i know it is a massive effort and we can't be bothered, but just think of your ex's face when he see's that new jaw dropping body of yours. This should fuel you to get on that running machine. You can never feel better when you are happy in your own skin and your ex will regret what he gave up, when your bathing in the attention from others.
  3. Make work your focal point. Get them grades you want, get that promotion. Success is rewarding and others appreciate success, even your ex. Your career is a big part of your life and you shouldn't let worrying about a guy ruin that, just remember there is plenty more fish in the sea. There will be plenty more opportunities to meet other people and you will when you've got that job/promotion you want. A Fresh Start is A Great Start.
  4. Don't forget to treat yourself. Go shopping buy some new clothes, make yourself feel great, show off your new look with confidence. Confidence is very seductive your ex will notice your new style and so will many others.

You are worth more than feeling rubbish and you need to realise this, not all relationships work out but getting up and getting on with it is going to make you look and feel better! If you like this post leave a comment please it will be much appreciated! have you got any advice? i'd like to here from you.
