Bubblegum Daiquiri 

To all people who are visiting Newcastle i have discovered the best Cocktail Bar EVERRRR!!!! It is called Jalou and it is amazing, the bar is conveniently placed right next to central station, so girls if you have your heels on you do not have to walk far, i call that Perfect!

Now we know where it is lets get onto the menu, the bar does all sorts of drinks from Desperados to Smirnoff Ice and many ranges of wine which is great. Nevertheless why drink alcohol you can get get from anywhere when you can have OUT OF THIS WORLD cocktails?! The first one of the many (might i add) that caught my eye was the bueno surprise which was made with actual kinder bueno, the bar man called it diabetes in a glass, after all the cocktail was just alcohol and chocolate which is a womans fantasy add diamonds to it and well it definitely would have been my best friend. Instead it came with a kinder egg, and to be totally honest that's why i chose the cocktail in the first place, i'm like a child in a 21 year olds body. Whilst my friends sophisticatedly sipped their grown up cocktails i played with the toy that came with the Kinder Egg.

I quickly demolished the Bueno Surprised and excitedly selected my next drink. ROUND 2 the Bubblegum Daiquiri. Ooooh i was like a little girl all over again, and my eyes widened as it was handed to me, i couldn't get over how pink it was. Then i noticed it, every childs dream was laid on top of it, POPPING CANDY. I was in my absolute element, crackling popping and jiggling with excitement i sipped away feeling a blast of bubblegum overflow my mouth and i knew then i had to try another.

Finally a tipsy Rachael decided to try the famous cookie monster. As you can see from the picture it looks amazing, blue cream, come one have you ever seen blue cream?! which gets even better by the way because it tastes of white chocolate and had white chocolate buttons and an oreo stuck in it, yum yum yummmm.

Overall i loved Jalou from the moment i stepped in the place, and i will be going back to try other amazing cocktails maybe this time on a Wednesday as it is two for one (things always seem better when they're cheaper). Let me know if anyone has tried any unusual cocktails? oh and what cocktail bars would you recommend?
